how much are ls6's going for?
Thinking about selling my ls6 shortblock. It has 126k miles and had new katech rod bolts, perfect circle rings, clevite bearings, and custom grind fti(ed Curtis) cam installed at 117k miles. Cam is spec'd for stock cube n/a. Cam is very awesome to drive with. Could sell with or without it. Plan on selling 243 heads separately because I want the head stud's. It also has ls7 lifters and ls2 chain. I was hoping to ask around $2000 with cam? Idk if I'm far off or not

that's not really an LS6 anymore, you've changed a lot of it
also no one is going to want to buy a motor without compression and leakdown numbers

Whole motors are in the 3000 range, except for some local idiot asking over 4000 for one.

if those are off you have something worth a few hundred bucks
as stated a nice stock complete ls6 with good compression and little to no wear in the bearings will fetch 3000 pretty easily

Probably just plan on keeping it unless someone local wants it and knows its history. On the bolt on and stock cube n/a fast list

if you do a leakdown test with the heads on and take pics of the crank and bearings it shouldn't be hard to sell.
i'm sure you can understand why this is a concern to people

Guess I don't quite understand this. Wouldn't it be worth more with the heads on it? Are heads stock, or have work done to them?

Why not sell it with the heads on and buy new studs? Are these like the only ones of their kind in the world? (j/k)

Arp's are just really expensive especially if my engine is only with a few hundred bucks

if you leave it all together you could sell the engine for a lifetime supply of head studs. . .
