Thanks it makes sense!!

Pewter99 thanks for the response as well.

I "check" for the very first post I make in a thread, such as this one. Then if I post further in the same thread, I don't include my signature - I figure by then everyone has already memorized my list of mods.

What I find annoying is people who include their signature on every post, even if the post is just a smilie, but their sig is thirteen lines long.

I only ever respond with the quick reply box and it doesn't have a sig option.

In the other 3 forums members always show their signatures. I find it is a good way to see what others cars look like & an insight into their mods. I know some have their car in their avatar (like me), but the pic is small & hard to see.

So is it a rule, or something that is not promoted here? Anyway, just wondering.........I guess I don't show mine since I don't see anyone else show theirs, "when in Rome".....
Some of us have been here for a while. Some of us post every day. IN my case posting my signature in the 14,000 post that I've presented here would be disgusting. IM sure there are members here who have had enough of most of the photographs I've displayed. I posted my signature here in the first three or four years but soon got tired of looking at it myself. Ive even changed it up several times, but in this case less is more, so no signature.

Considering all the helpful tips, inside info and just plain common sense that you have provided, I would gladly 'endure' your self serving sig anytime!

thank you for your kind words, but for the sake of the community they don't need to see my signature ten times a day, most know who I am and what I drive.

They'd have to find another advertiser just to cover the cost of the extra memory!!
