Ok folks this is something I've always wondered (been on here for alomost 10yrs!!), so I'm going to ask. I am a member of 4 forums (this one & 3 others). In the other 3 forums members always show their signatures. I find it is a good way to see what others cars look like & an insight into their mods. I know some have their car in their avatar (like me), but the pic is small & hard to see.
So is it a rule, or something that is not promoted here? Anyway, just wondering.........I guess I don't show mine since I don't see anyone else show theirs, "when in Rome".....
They don't appear unless the poster checks the box when they submit. It is unchecked by default, I assume, to minimize the amount of pictures that must load in long threads that may have no other need for pics.
Thanks guys for the responses. No, no need to be a paid member. I know if you check on the sign it will appear. I just always wondered why folks did not check it on here...LOL.
Again, no big deal, it does make sense that the page will load slower with sig's (PS Sig stands for signature...LOL).

But in answer to the OP; a lot of folks here actually take the time to fill in their profiles, location, car, mods etc. There is also the "garage" feature where you can put pictures of your car and go in to mods there also.
I think people would get tired of seeing the same over-large images everytime someone posts. JMO
