Join the Air Force. Learn to fly fighter jets. Have to use the ejector seat twice. You will be two inches shorter (your spine permanently compresses one inch each time you eject) and have solved your headroom problem. However, you will be grounded because a third ejection would severely injure you and, well, you just lost two fighter jets that cost at least a billion each.
Or get a convertible and never put the top up.

Red cars are faster. They did a study on it.
My brother is 1" taller than me. I however have longer legs. I am 6' 5" and fit fine. He is 6' 6" and can not fit in my Vettes unless the top is off or down. Can't drive them even then as the top of the windshield is in his line of vision. I don't fit in his Mercedes as there is not enough leg room. Lots of head room though. Need to buy a car that fits. He also complains about the leg room. Neither of us has any problems with either of our trucks. Both full size extended cabs mine Chev his Ford.
Dont drive as soon as you wake up. You're taller in the morning.I have to agree with duramxsky as I'm about the same height. I fit great and have long legs, but my friend who is about 2 inches shorter than me has a longer torso and was crammed in on the passenger side with his head well against my roof. It was weird.
The most i can say is, tilt the seat down in the back, lift up on the front
There are some aftermarket seats that sit lower than the stock seats. They key more than the seat are the rails. Using a low or shaved seat + non-adjustable rails can gain you 3+".
Corbeau A4's have an option to have them shaved, I believe they sit 1" lower than stock seats when they're shaved, and then if you have some brackets made that bolt to the side of the seats to get them as low as possible you can probably get a good 3+" of clearance. Corbeau FX1 seats also sit pretty low. But again, you'll need fixed seat rails to lower them enough to get the extra headroom over stock. They also have removable seat cushions to gain even more headroom. The idea is that you take the seat cushions out if you need to wear a helmet, to gain you the extra room for it.
Those sound like good options. I definitely want the max adjustment possible with seat back and sliding though. While this won't be a daily driver for me I don't plan on letting sit all that much either.
Years ago people talked about removing some of the springs under the seat cushion, consequently you sank lower into the seat frame and got a bit more headroom. Don't know how that played out over time, but you can try and ask those who did it....
