Caliper covers are for tools and the cooling claims are nothing more than marketing hype. Real world temp differences don't exist or else you'd see them used on track.
Another vote for Mike the powdercoater. I just did mine two weeks ago. Mike is quick to get the order out and his work is flawless. I put the red calipers on my Torch red convertible along with new drilled and slotted rotors.
i've got some red ones that came on mine when i bought it that i can sell you cheaper than 200 if you still want some after all this positive feedback lol

My own personal opinion is I do not like the look of them on the car. I prefer either painted or powdercoated calipers myself. But, it doesn't matter what we think, only what you like on your car.
But I also always get a chuckle out of people who condemn something, especially when I see some of the cheesy things others do to their car. Wheels are a big one, imo.
It's your car, do what you want, don't take the word of a few people who don't like them, when they have sold thousands of them and they are on people's cars.

Another vote for Mike Golding powdercoating. IMO the covers are a waste of money. Powdercoated ones are easy to keep clean and the look is far better. Besides, if your wanting to achieve a big-brake look then the only solution is to ante up for one and be done with it. Good luck on whatever you choose...In the end it's YOUR car.
I've seen Mikes work...its excellent...Me I choose a small brush and some Rustolium
Red and Black Paint...
One long afternoon did the caps of the rotors and the rotors black and did the calipers
Red....a very close match to My Torch Red.
Pleanty of how to's in this forum.
Side note...2 years and still look like they were sprayed.
