Then the seats don't matter: what will get to you is the climbing in and out, same for both.

Driven both, not much difference. Ended up buying the C5. We like the styling of the C5 over the C6. That's what sold us. Have not driven a C7, would like to. I think it's the actual car your driving will make the difference: condition, mileage, suspension etc.. it all makes a difference. The only fair way to compare is to drive a brand new stock C5 & C6. Both are superior to the C4 we had.

Be careful asking for more comfort in a sports car. Remember what happened to the Ford Thunderbird ? They started out small and grew to the size of a battle ship all in the name of comfort. Then they tried to make a comeback as a small car and bombed. Could happen to the Corvette and I see it heading there.

Gee's sorry to hear about your condition. Makes one feel humble when doing relatively well. I am 58 and so far so good. Wishing you the best my friend. Greetings, Rob

I have to laugh -- my one-day rental of a two-seat drop-top T-bird, while I was getting major repairs to my Subaru Outback, convinced me to get my first convertible.

My C5 Vert, the Grey Ghost, is my second convertible, and if I'm lucky I'll drive it until I can't drive any more.

Coming from someone who went from a C5 to three different C6s and then back to a C5, I can say the C6 is definitely more comfortable, but not by much. C6 is definitely more refined overall, though. It's weird not seeing a NAV screen or HUD.

C5. My C6 interior felt cramped. Much prefer the C5 comfort and the mag ride of the 50th anniversary helps a lot too.

I am glad to know my C5 is more spacious, I don't want less.

I went from a C3 to a C5. Anything, including my granddaughter's hobby horse rides better that the C3. I find my C5 a perfect fit for me. The times I sat in a C6 I wasn't impressed. Guess it depends on how your body fits the seat.

I flew down to buy my C5 from Seattle to Sacramento. Drove it back nonstop the same day. It was about 11-12 hours only stopping for gas twice.

I had zero fatigue and remember thinking as I got close to home that I wished the drive was a few hours longer.

I'm 6'3" and will forever praise the engineers that allowed me to fit comfy in a Corvette.
