planning to get tints all around on my coupe by the end of this year... just wondering what % visibility you guys decided to go with and how dark it was during night time. pics would also be cool!
btw i was thinking of doing 20% visibility all around since my interior is all black i think it would make it seem darker also.

Might want to check what your state allows in terms of the darkness of the tint, especially on the side windows. Around here, you can go as dark as you want on the rear, but on the sides you cannot go any darker than 35%.

Cali doesn't allow anything on the front side windows. That doesn't mean people don't get away with it everyday......but the risk is there of getting a fix-it ticket.
Anyway...here is what 15% ceramic looks......nothing on the windshield
Looks much lighter at this angle............

is that 15 % visibility? thats probably along the lines of the shade i want... i think i can still pull it off from the leos with that kind of visibility. BTW nice set of calipers you get there!
Thanks on the BBK! The stopping power is crazy!
The % number is reference of how much light passes through. So mine is 15%, which means 15% light passes through. The lower that number is the darker the tint is.....the higher the number is the lighter the tint is..and that darkness will vary from brand to brand and also will vary depending on tint material. Ceramic tint at 15% will be lighter than A dyed tint at 15%.
My tint is made by FormulaOne, and it is the Pinnacle Series 15%. The clarity of Ceramic tint is awesome when compared to dyed tint.
I think they do the Pinnacle in 5, 15, 20, 30, 35, 40, and 50 percents http://formulaone.com/en/pinnacle.aspx

thanks this is very informative! definitely something i will consider when i look for shops to do my tints
I did 20% on mine. Still want to redo it and do 5% all around with 50% on windshield. I have that on my other vehicle and love it.
this visual actually helps a lot since my car is a pewter coupe also! beautiful car what side skirt and chin spoiler are those? looks impossible to drive through speed bumps and driveways tho!
