ive noticed in alot of the pics that there is a good collection of motorcyles in the back grounds , i was wondering what everyone else likes to ride ( harleys) (sport bikes)( cruisers) etc . would like to see them this is my 98 FLSTC ,
I am 52 years old and have been riding on the street since 16. My present 2 bikes are a 2000 HD Screaming Eagle Road Glide with over 100,000 miles that I have owned since new. About 4000 miles ago I stroked the engine to 117 inches. I have been to 37 states on it. Here is a pic from a few years ago on one of my Sturgis trips. I also have a 2000 FXR-4 that is for sale.
I was an expert racer in WERA on Ducati and I also raced an R6 for awhile. I still teach a lot of motorcycle track schools. I don't have a sport bike now but I have a 2012 Harley street glide that I love riding. I am trying to decide which sport bike to get next. It is between a panigali and a R1. I have been riding for the past 15 years on the track so I am kinda burned out with it.
Well i had a 07 honda vtx 1800 f with side burner exhaust and loward.but found my 03 vette with 30000 miles on it at a car lot an they gave me what i was asking for it on a trade.i do miss my bike but i love my vette

I ride an old man's bike A Goldwing GL1800A with an aux tank and other farkels. I do Iron Butt Association (IBA) long distance rides. My most challenging to date was a 48 state ride in 9 days 9 Hours and change. I call the Goldwing a couch rocket.
All Harleys over the years. 1947 Harley Hog suicide shift , several 1974 Sportsters ( bought one new ) , 1965 pan head Duo-Glide, Custom hardtail chopper , 1980 Superglide , 1979 Low Rider ( bought new ), 2002 Night train ( bought new ) , and my present Harley 2010 Heritage Classic ( bought new ).

Until I had 3 vertbrae fused in my lower back (in 2006) I also rode a Goldwing (a 2002 model) and a Honda 1100XX Blackbird (a 180+ mph hyperbike). During 2002 my eldest son and I did the how-many-miles-can-you-ride-in-24-hours Iron Butt - we did 1,400 (certified and documented) miles and earned our IBA patches and certificates.
During those years we routinely drove from Dallas to Kerrville, TX to ride the Holy Trinity (aka the Three Twisted Sisters) in Central Texas. And during one one of those trips I pushed the Blackbird (aka Dos Equis) up to a speedometer-indicated 195 mph (we suspected it was actually about 175 since the speedo was about 10% optimistic) on a straight back road near San Saba, TX.
A year later my two sons (then ages 21 and 14) and I rode the Goldwing and the Dos Equis 4,000 miles in 6 days - Dallas to the four corners area in southwestern Colorado - and had a blast. Durango to Ouray, Colorado and back, all on the Million Dollar Highway, was our favorite run during that trip - we did it daily. Most spectacular riding/driving I have ever done. Even beats US 1 (the PHC) and Mulholland Highway.
But no more. Old age and worn-out joints no longer tollerate 2-wheeled action. That's OK - my 2002 MY 575 rwhp coupe more-than-adequately scratches the itch.
