Question on Stereo

But it depends on how much money you want to spend and what type of music you listen to.
If you want thump, then yes I would recommend a sub. But a two channel amp would do it. Component speakers up front and a sub. You can make it a 4 speaker setup but it's not a have to.
I would go to the audio section of the forum and talk to those guys if it were me. It's not as active, but the guys who really know this stuff will eventually show up and talk to you. You could also go post your question maybe in the OT section if you don't get responses in the audio section.
Or you could also get hold of Dennis at Double D Mods and talk with him. He's a vendor here.
With your setup, have you considered a self powered sub? Change the front speakers and get a self powered sub and you may be set.
I've thought about adding a self powered sub to my setup at some point. So I would have my KTP 445 power pack providing extra kick paired with a powered sub. Then I could lose my 6x9's I have in the rear, because they're really just for added bass in my setup.
OTE=Klemmy31;1585618153]Well... I pulled out all stock Bose equipment, installed 6 1/2 Hybrid audio in the doors, 5 1/4 in the rear and a 10" sub in a stealth box in the rear storage comp. Powered it all wit a 5 channel Massive amp and run a double din Pioneer h/u. I wasn't looking for pounding bass, just good quality "full" sound. Seems to suit my tastes.[/QUOTE]
