Removed my front spoiler AGAIN....getting it ready for another shipping date to another state. I hate moving. Had the front end off the ground so pay no nevermind to the gap with the fender.
Plates expire at the end of the month so had to get the new ones in TN. Won't have a new address for a couple months. At least now I can drive it if the time comes to do that. The personal plate in TN probably won't happen unless we decide to stay here someplace. Can't see that happening though unfortunately. We really love TN but the pull to be closer to family is pretty strong at the moment.
Sometimes life really moves fast when you least expect it and when you really need it to. Found and bought a place today so we won't be homeless for more then a couple weeks. Grape got sent up there this morning to my cousins farm until I can get up there and claim him again. Took the front spoiler off to avoid damage to it in transit. Really looking forward to being close to family again too. Been away from them since 1989. Time to go home. Got a ranch style place with a walkout basement on 2 acres, a 2 car detached, insulated, climate controlled garage with a man cave room on top. That will be in addition to the 2 car attached garage.
Congrats Mark! I'm so glad things worked out. Sounds like a great setup, Good luck with the move. I hope everything goes smoothly. Where is the new house?
Thanks, so far it's going much smoother then last time. This place closes on the 3rd and we head north on the 4th or 5th.

Thanks too. The new place is back home in Nebraska. The town my wife grew up in, Fremont, as it has many more things to do then my home town of only 1300 peeps. Her town has about 25K peeps and many more stores. We'll be happy there. The new place is outside of town a couple miles and plenty of elbow room between neighbors.

Huh. I always wondered what it looked like without a front emblem. Nice
My guess is you have, Keep on Rock Me by Steve Miller on repeat in the car ?
Good Luck wherever life takes you.
I really like the no-emblem on the front so far too. I also left the back one off. Love me some Steve Miller, I play his stuff a lot. You can read me well. 🥴👍 This new move feels totally different then the last one. I feel like it's the right move for us right now.
Almost forgot what I came here to write. My cousin called a couple hours ago and said the car is in his possession, safe and sound in his shed. Now it just waits for me to claim him again.
The new place here in Nebraska is officially ours as of the 29th of August. Don't have our belongings yet but hope to have that taken care of soon. I went out over the last couple days and did a little walk around video of the place. I think it will be a good fit for us, the only concern I have is the gravel road and the Corvette. I will definitely have to take it slow with that.
Thanks y'all. I'm kinda anxious to see how the Vette does with the road. It's only about a half mile worth, but that's still a half mile I have to deal with. Super slow mo will be the key. I am feeling better today too. I'm planning on going to get the Vette this weekend and put it in his rightful place again. This better be my last move for a while, I'll tell you what!!! Now to see how we tolerate the winters again, that will be the key too.
