You have one too? I have kept every plate from every car I've owned and have them mostly zip-tied as a pile in my garage.
The cali plate came off my S600 when I had it delivered. As a Viper fan, I prefer to believe that whoever owned it was tongue in cheek about the performance of the twin turbo V12 beating a Gen2 GTS's 488cid V10 with the "Screw 488" script.
Checked Nebraska dmv database, squatch is taken. So is bigfoot.
I did my first mod to the truck today too. De-badged it from any dealer markings. Then installed the bug deflector. Not a perfect fit, buti made it fit. Had to locate and drill 2 new holes. By the time I finished the temp went from 26 and no wind, to 15 and 25 mph north wind with a zero fells like temp. My hands were cold after that one. 🥶
Grape's garage is getting closer to being liveable again. Got the top to my new condo today, came in 2 weeks early. Now I can put everything into one place and not have to try and remember which box whatever I'm looking for is in. 2 of the boxes I have now will be going bye-bye. I'll tell ya man, it was rough getting that top on by myself. That thing isn't light by any means....🤨

Awwwww yeah.... Getting serious. You're going to need a second toy car now. One you can get dirty and do nasty burnoutd in and never care about. Like a base C6 with a blower, or a Gen4 Fbody with 4.10s and nitrous!
If it wasn't for bad influences, life would be boring at times. 😉 Now I can't wait to get the other boxes out of the way. My dad is having some health issues at the moment so I've been busy with that the last few days. The box might have to be dealt with when I have a few spare minutes now and then.

Hey Mark, hope you’re getting better acclimated.
About the plate; did you try B, I, G, F, 00(zeros) T?
That maybe taken but try it 👍🏻
Gen3 so I can switch genders on what I feel like that day....😄

Speaking of the weather, it looks like I won't be going or doing anything for a couple days again. Damn snow storm came farther north then I expected. To cold to be in the garage.......again!!!
Yesterday afternoon.
This morning when I got up. Started around 3:30 AM. Not supposed to quit until around noon. Got about 4 inches so far.
I expected more from a Nebraska winter. Where is all the snow? I figured y'all would be buried like we get some years. Though this year's CT winter has been more like a NC one.... pretty darned warm and comfortable and almost no miserable weather. We had ONE period of two days where it dipped down to -11 overnight and that's been it. It is about 60 outside right now! Unbelievable. I need to go hit the bike and start sweating because my blood is in 'winter' mode and not ready for this 'heat.'
I did make a point of going out on the -11 morning at 5am. I did a 2.5 mile woods walk along the power lines and train tracks, then back through the neighborhood. I used to work outside for a few years so I've got the layers available, just needed to test and remind myself. I took my right glove off ONCE to get a quick selfie of my eyelashes freezing together and the frost on my hat / face mask and my hand never recovered core temp. Despite good wrist cover with no external air and my body warming UP while walking and having to remove a face and neck layer, the hand never recovered temp and was so cold by the time I got home that it was painful edging on numb. I could always pull it inside the jacket sleeve and loop off for ten minutes but I was near to home. I was surprised the glove itself lost all heat so instantly, but I had also not donned an inner skin layer just my oversized waterfowl gloves thinking the wrist cover was enough. This is why we test.... to remind ourselves and to learn.
