My latest mod, if you want to call it that. I had my stock air filter intake tube painted a couple years ago. I noticed a while ago that the paint was starting to crack at the points around the logo. So I took it to work and ground the logo off. I then took it to my body guy to have it filled and repainted. I would have tried to fill it at work but I didn't think what we had there would be good for it. My body guy did a fantastic job with it and I think it looks much better. It's black again of course. If anyone has an idea of maybe getting a little airbrush done to it, let me know what would maybe look decent. I'm kind of liking the all black though.

Now the new version. I like it much better. Won't have to worry about the paint cracking again.

It's not going anywhere for quite a while if I can help it. I told my son-in-law yesterday that when his son turns 16 he can have it. He's almost 2 now. He gave me a funny look and said "Really, Mark? He doesn't NEED a Corvette when he turns 16." I was just kidding with him of course but I wanted to see what he said.
I also spent the last couple days cleaning it up really well before the heat sets in. I take more time for the spring cleaning on this thing then I do for the house...
It was cloudy out yesterday so the color doesn't come through to well.

'Nother update. Installed some Billy Boat PRT mufflers Sunday afternoon. Sounds a little different now. Had the eBay version on it since 2007 so I figured if was time for a change. A couple friends helped with the install and the lift. Hard to do without a lift if you want them off in one piece. I have a thread with a video of the sound difference in the general section if you want to take a listen.
Still need to fine tune them a little to get them straight.

I have B&B Tri-Flow on mine...installed by PO when car was still pretty new...I never been able to verify it, but I think what I have is the predecessor to what you have. Love the way mine sounds...
Spent a little "ME" time this morning while the kids had mother out for some fun. Little Chadwick time and installed my new hydro-dipped seat handle covers. I didn't realize my car was so dirty. After using the Chadwick stuff the sponge showed more then I thought it would have.
Then took it out for a little drive. Really liking the new muffler sound.
