First and foremost Mark, your car is beautiful and I really loved seeing that color on the Z28’s and Corvettes. Secondly, I would be pi$$ed and insulted handing those covers to you if I were the paint shop manager or owner. The difference between your Vette and those covers are nearly different like black or white.

Have them make it right. If they can’t do it, it should be a no charge to you and you are off to find a more competent painter.

I like the new look however it is not the exact same color as your fenders in that lighting. Keep the purple and let it grow on you. Then you will know which you like better or if you think you need to have them repainted.

I hear ya geovani, and I can somewhat agree. But if I want them to be perfect to the car, I'd be money and time ahead to just send them off to Arizona and have Michael spray them. I refuse to use this shop again for paint work and I'm washing my hands of it for now. He didn't charge me much in the end because he couldn't get them right. That's why I gave him something small and not really necessary for the car to be what it is. I believe I may wind up shipping them like Mike said, but I'll see how I like them the more I look at them and decide later. I will contact Michael tomorrow and see if he even wants to do them for me and go from there.

Good defensive game for sure. Horrible outcome for me though. I had on my shirt I've been wearing lately on game days. "WE ALMOST ALWAYS ALMOST WIN" so it was relivent again.

Pew Pew is a saying being used for guns these days. Think it all came from a Lego movie. I took a couple guns out to my nephews place to have a little fun. The pistol I brought with decided it didn't want the red dot sight on it anymore and left the gun. The screw heads popped off so I'll be getting stronger ones next time. I also have a new metal mounting plate on order for it so it shouldn't have an issue anymore.

Oh man. I was working right next to the safe today. It was so tempting. I haven't taken a single long rifle to the range since my head injury in 2018. I couldn't for a long, long time due to the report / concussive blast giving me instant killer skull pain in an arc from my rear left top straight around and into my left eye/sinus like a knife. I think I can do it now maybe. Not sure but I want to find out - especially since I have some sweet lever actions I bought right before the hit which need to be worked out.

Crud. I need to renew my CCW out here too. I dig my original 365 but the Spectre 365 elevates it to being able to pick your placement and I think it is time to upgrade if I'm going to go back to carrying again.

That aside... what are we looking at, an aftermarket mounting plate? Or does the shield's slide come naturally with an angle to the right?

I hope and pray you'll be able to enjoy that really fun hobby again someday soon, Tusc. Those head injuries can really take a tole on a person. The 365 is a fun gun to shoot. My nephew has one he let me try a while back and I really liked it. That plate you see on the slide is a factory, plastic plate that came with the gun and fits with the sight I had on it. It's just sitting there loosely and out of place a little because there's nothing holding it down. When I install the sight again with the metal plate I have ordered for it, it will be positioned correctly. I have a metal plate on my performance center 2.0 but never did it pop into my head to change this one out before I shot it. Live and learn, but I'm glad it didn't hit me in the eye like a famous BB gun did to a kid on Christmas day. When it flew off it did hit me in the forehead just below the hairline. Left a nice little reminder to be careful.

Badass plate there too, Mr. Black. Love it. 😎👍

Good luck with your search. Everyone is different as to what they like and feels right in the hands. Looks like a great piece you're looking for too. I've never held one honestly.

I'd be getting in line for the right to keep the grape ape so mint and chill it'd be called the arctic grape! Really glad you got rid of the horrible idea.

Appreciate that. A few have mentioned they'd be in line too. It humbles me to know how people feel about it. 😎👍
I would like to get an older classic someday. But with the wife needing the funds it's just not practical for me to be selfish and that was the only reason for the thought to be there. I'm happy with just the Grape around and I also have my truck, which I really like compared to the '01 I sold. We shall see how things play out next year and go with that.

Hope all is well with y'all and Christmas was good to ya. Been busy around Grape Ape acres lately fixing things and playing with stuff. Christmas day we got our white Christmas finally. Roads were horrible to say the least and took the truck out to visit family and have lunch with them. Now It's time to take it into town and give it good rinse. I'm going to pick up something new for Grape too if it's in stock. Not anything to put on him, but something for him to use while he's resting in winter time. It's still cold out and we still have about 4 inches of the white stuff on the ground so I won't be doing much outside for a while. They had a lot more snow out west and south of us so I feel fortunate we only got what we did. Take care y'all and hope 2024 is better for everyone.

Some of the snow we got Christmas day.

This was half of the 4 lane heading north on hiway 77. Only 1 lane each way was usable. Sure glad I bought this 4x4 now and the reason I did.

After we got home and the reason for needing a bath.
