Went shopping today and bought some new dollies for Grape to slide around on while in the garage. I bought some harbor freight ones last year and had to change the wheels out to make it easier to move him around. Well, this year I went and bought another set. I've been waiting for them to go on sale ever since I saw them and they did this week, I believe yesterday. I bought 4 of the Daytona yellow ones and they were $99 each plus tax. Normally $129 so I saved about $120 plus tax on them. I took the wheels completely apart and got my hands really greasy while greasing the bearings and sleeves and axle bolts. Let me tell ya, these things work soooooo slick and are super easy to move the car around now. Not sure what I'm going to do with the other ones but these new ones are keepers for sure. They are very similar to the GoJaks but waaaaay cheaper. Next I'll be watching for a discount code and get the storage stand for them when spring arrives.
Old ones I modified with new wheels. They work very well but wanted a little easier operating ones as I'm no spring chicken anymore.
New Daytona self jacking dollies. With greased wheels. No more getting on my knees to jack the car up.

Thanks, that door was a great learning experience. Couldn't be happier with the way it came out. I found out how the old door frame got the water damage too. I'm going to install an awning when it comes in to avoid that again.
This isn't purple stuff, but white, wet stuff. Got about 8 inches of it yesterday and overnight last night. Tried to dig myself out with a small mower-snowplow I have. NOPE..... Got some of it done but that little tractor couldn't handle the big stuff. So I'm going to have to spend some money on a blade for my side-by-side and be ready for it next time. It was fun playing with the mower but it will be even more fun with the side-by-side. Maybe if I spend the money on a new blade it won't snow near as much either. Isn't that the way its suppose to work!

Yeah, we received over 12" of the white stuff here in eastern Iowa yesterday, expected to get a couple more tonight. I really love all the garage space I have but it sucks to remove snow from that much driveway.
You have a beautiful yard.
Been pretty busy with more snow again. Finally got dug out a couple days ago and I'm able to get to town again if needed. Had to put the small mower-blade to some heavy use to get it done though. Went up and down the main drive like 20 times with it as the snow was wet and heavy and hard for that little guy to keep up. I was fighting -40 windchills on the 18th to try and keep up with it but had to give up or freeze to death and finish on the 19th. Got it done though. I've been busy with a shovel too getting access to the back patio as well. I'm still waiting on parts for the ranger blade installation as they were delayed due to weather down in Alabama. Not sure I'll have that done before spring but the front bumper and winch is first on the list. I'm hoping I can get the front circle drive cleaned out about mid week as it's suppose to be above freezing and might melt enough I can get the mower up there and play some more with it. Hope y'all are doing well.
My back is sore just thinking about you removing all that snow off your huge deck.
Your mower sure is a workhorse, Mark. Thankfully -40 windchills is something I will never experience down here in SW Florida.
To be honest with ya, I never ever thought I'd be back here dealing with this stuff again. I don't like it but we have to be here for the wife and I'm okay with that and I'll deal with it. My back is still a bit sore too. Suppose to be at or above 32 after Wednesday we are hoping, then it will melt some of this stuff. I still need to open the circle drive up top but it's way to deep still for that little mower and I'm sure as hell not gonna scoop it.
Been busy with the Ranger lately. Getting it ready for the next big snow storm. Most likely it won't come now that I'll be more prepared for it. I bought a new Wild Boar front bumper for it and getting a winch installed so it can handle the 72" snow blade I have on order for it. I just need to secure the wires from the winch to the frame just aft of the bumper and then mount and hook up the cutoff switch. I made a bracket for it to mount under the seat and close to the battery. Won't get any time with it tomorrow as I'm planning on lunch with the parents and that takes most of the day so we can visit. I'll finish it up Wednesday and try it out, hopefully it will work. It should. Blade should be here by weeks end I hope. I'm really enjoying the time working on this thing. It's a fun process and great therapy for me.
The winch is like.....WAAAAAAAAAY overkill. But more power, more better. Right! 😄👍
