Sorry for the delay with the medical, Mark, and prayerful that the delay will be short and not be an issue with your wife’s treatment.
You will enjoy the side marker lights. Everyone that has seen ours likes them; and they still work with the remote lock/unlock and give the single flash for lock and double flash on unlock. Also have Cole’s new front corner lights with the sequentially flashing turn signals but have not installed them yet. Hoping the smaller opening on our ZR front bumper will still allow full visibility of the turn signals.
Going through the same decision you had on YouTube with which option to use for the new Vette-Lights tail lights.
Thanks y'all. Day at a time but gets frustrating. We have an appointment with an oncologist but not until May 2nd. Hope we get things rolling before then with this other doctor.
Got the 3rd brake light and backup light sockets installed today. Waiting on the sockets and bulbs for the plate lights and bulbs for the backup lights. Maybe they'll be here tomorrow. Then I'll be able to mount it on the wall and it will look much better than before.
Staying awake until 1 AM to make sure we're okay. Major storm right on top of us at the moment. Hail, strong winds and possible damage to house and trees. Fun stuff, I have the GoPro out in the driveway to hopefully capture some cool stuff.
Reminds me of my first meeting at the national office in Des Moines. I flew ahead early on Sunday, but ended up trapped in Minneapolis. Couldn't leave until midnight when I rented a car and drove south through driving hail, high winds and Stage 4 tornado warnings on the radio saying it has touched down on County 36 and all I know from the road signs is that I'm in County 37 driving like hell with a killer tornado SOMEWHERE within a few miles of me. Meanwhile, I'm half blinded and dead tired with the wipers on full still not enough, and dodging dead deer carcasses dropped by the big rigs. I white knuckled it, got to Des Moines and had enough time to shower without sleeping and get to the meeting.
Most everyone else trickled in across the day. Some after 5pm! They all stayed put or took other flights on Monday since most of the Midwest had been shut down prior.
The secretary heard my story while I was waiting out front and on the phone with a friend. She whispered in the ear of the CEO who singled me out for my "drive" in front of the rest of the crew. None of them liked me after that. Haha.
Great story there, Tusc. I've dealt with a few storms, both summer and winter while I grew up around here. We did survive last night without damage. We are currently in another tornado watch until 11 PM so it might get fun again later. 😎👍
Glad you got through the storms okay. I'll keep praying brother. The waiting can be really difficult, but at least you have a date now. Soon your wife and her doctors will be able to make a plan, and start taking the appropriate action. Good luck!
I've been working on my bumper art project the last few days. Snow flurries here today too. Its April for gosh sakes man....come on!!! But I did get the project done and it's ready to be mounted in the garage. If it's warmer tomorrow I may get that done. I also had a few videos of the process and parts I used but my gopro decided it didn't want to give them up. Files were corrupt and had to format the SD card. So no video of that.
Well, I believe my life would be pretty boring and ho-hum if it weren't for my wife. She makes routine things almost always exciting. The biopsy went fairly well. But the after part has been what the exciting part is. The hole they made for the biopsy didn't heal itself so her chest cavity was filling up with air. They took 2 x-rays and it showed the air pocket was getting larger so that meant it was leaking. So they put a drain tube in and will take another x-ray in the morning to make sure it's healing itself before taking the tube out. We won't know anything about the biopsy until maybe Monday they said. But just need to get her healed from the procedure now. I have a car show I'm signed up for Saturday but if she's not ready for me to leave her yet, then that will have to be canceled obviously. See how she does tomorrow. I'll report back when I find anything else out. Have a great weekend, y'all.
