I can't imagine seeing that crap and not blowing a gasket. I had a new hood, front splitter, rear spoiler, side skirts, and the original front fascia and headlamp covers painted and installed and everything was sprayed off the car and then reinstalled without a single blemish and perfect paint match. I didn't even spend a fortune either, just a reasonable quoted price for the work that was being done. Knowing that my car was very important to me and more than just an ordinary car, the owner of the shop did the work himself. My biggest fear while waiting to get the car back was that the quality of the work wouldn't meet my expectations. I was fortunate to have had my expectations met.

There is absolutely no excuse for crappy work like this. Good luck dealing with them. The car does look good though.

I guess they did not like that...

I sincerely hope this travesty is resolved to your satisfaction. But, looking at the information available on the Internet, I think you might be out of luck, other than taking them to court which is a long shot.

Did somebody recommend these clowns to you? In business less than one year? Only one positive review on Yelp? Just looking at their Facebook pages, their Yelp account, and their own website, I don't think they could be entrusted to repaint a $25 bicycle.

I just found the following tidbits on the LA/OC Better Business Bureau website under the name Orange County Collision Center. Probably Orange County Collision and Glass Center is one of their DBAs or vice versa.

Orange County Collision and Glass Center appears to be rated "F" by the BBB. That is the lowest rating they give.

http://www.bbb.org/orange-county/bus...on-ca-1022832/

Orange County Collision and Glass Center

This business is in an industry that may require professional licensing, bonding or registration. BBB encourages you to check with the appropriate agency to be certain any requirements are currently being met.

On 11/26/2013 BBB confirmed that Orange County Collision & Glass Center had not obtained a necessary license from Bureau of Automotive Repair- San Diego.

Type of Entity - Partnership

Business Management
Mr. Diego Segura, Owner
Mr. Carlos Garcia, Partner
Contact Information
Principal: Mr. Diego Segura, Owner
Business Category

.................................
Maybe try and contact the BAR number above in San Diego and see what they say about this operation.

Or, maybe tell these clowns that you are going to file with BAR unless they resolve this to your satisfaction immediately. Take the car to a quality shop and get a quote to correct all the repair work caused by this shops general incompetence. Demand they satisfy your total repair costs and also refund whatever amount is appropriate and reasonable. Good luck!

I also got the following info from the BAR website:

http://www.autorepair.ca.gov/01_Cons...BARHelpMe.html

Steps

STEP 1: HOW CAN BAR HELP ME?
Each year, BAR negotiates more than $4 million in rework, refunds, and adjustments on behalf of consumers. If you feel you have a complaint requiring investigation, call us. We'll help you check it out!

What are my rights?

A written estimate for repair work.
A detailed invoice of work done and parts supplied.
Return of replaced parts, if requested at the time a work order is placed.
Questions concerning the above should be directed to the manager of the repair facility.
Unresolved questions regarding service work may be submitted to:

Bureau of Automotive Repair

Again, good luck dealing with these guys...

Guys like this usually fear action by State regulators far more than mere civil actions by a lawyer. The State can take away their ability to do business. The lawyer will likely only succeed in getting the car fixed after lengthy negotiations or civil actions.

Threaten with the State to get your car grudgingly repaired much more quickly. Once you and/or your car move to Texas all of this gets much more complicated. Do it now. Do it quickly.
