I installed one on a friends Vette! The fitment was not that great, it looked nice and sounded ok. there are others out there that are much better. My GHLs were around that price and love the sound! Just a tip!

I would sit tight and be patient, keep an eye out in the for sale section as cat backs show up often. Tax returns are around the corner and sure people will be buying and changing things up!

What type of sound are you looking for, give us more details on your mods of future planned mods? Z06 TI catbacks sound nice and are pretty cheap to find used.

look at this

I have GHL's and NXT's on my two C5's and I much prefer the sound of the NXT's and tha's with heads/cam on the GHL's and none on the NXT's. I have one of the first NXT sets sold when they first came out so I posted a couple threads about them.

They have aged extremely well through salted-road Indiana winters and lots of rain with zero corrosion. I also think they look better than GHL's.

I'm seriously thinking about swapping them because I am selling the C5 that has them on right now. That's how much I like them.

I agree with the above. Mine are aging very well but I don't have snow and salt to deal with. I did have to have a muffler shop do some professional adjustments to mine to get them to stay even though and had them tack welded. I have had these on since 2007. Love the sound.

I have one of the original nxts. Nothing has changed from my posts 3 years ago. The stainless has held up very well and I drive in rain, snow ect unfortunately. The sound is great its quiet when cruising , opens up when flooring it.

Same negatives it takes time to get it to line up the tips and the cans but there are a lot of adjustment points. And getting a tighter clamps then what they provide to hold it in place. So add about $50 to the price for some clamps. Overall very happy with the exhaust.
