Uuuuuhhhhh..... let's take the calculator out to see how much a C7 would cost to be as fast as mine?
First the car.... about $70,000
rollbar....... $1000
Supercharger......$10,000
Sparco's...... $1000
So it's only going to take $82,000 to get what I already have.......STUUUUUPID.
Rick, I love your car but seriously the new C-7 is a engineering marvel, your not going to get that in your car and eventually you will have faith issues with your car and move on to the C-7 (just my thoughts - I am in your shoes - it is what it is) Me, I am even more STUPID cause I will be going for the C-7 2015 Z06. But you know what? You can call me stupid all day and it won't bother me a bit (course my C-5 will still be in use on those sunny summer days)!
Just having some fun with you big guy! Us C-5 crazy mod guys need to stick together!
What I love about a C7 Z06 is not unlike how I felt about the C6Z, it's damn near perfect out of the box. The C7Z adds the ridiculousness of the supercharger I loved in the C6 ZR1.
I hope to own a C7Z some day. I have modded everything I own, but the C7Z needs very little if anything and that means more money for gas and tires.
...I think the car is nice but the stance of the car, stock, is Ho Hum for the 70K it demands...
...IM wondering if the 25 to 49 demographic likes the new C7 design. I'm sure GM thinks they do.
Bill aka ET
Still looking to see my first lowered C7.
Anyone have any thoughts?...
Not sure about in the US, but in Canada the C7 starts at $52k, which is a freakin bargain.
Also, I'm in the lower end of your demographic scale, and I will definitely own a C7 one day. I love the looks of the C5, C6 and the C7. It's the evolution of a beautiful car and all of the designs will age well. When I saw my first C7 on the road in Ontario last summer, I almost lost it. The thing is gorgeous.

Stick with what you have Rick! Yours is a much better looking car than a c-7 and just as fast. If I wanted to blow $70-80 grand on a Vette it would be a "57"!
P.S. I wouldn't trade my "55" Chevy 2 door sedan for a c-7! The old "55" has class.
