Why does it have to be one over the other? Why not both?

Personally, I'm sold, and the targa roof was the clincher. The C7 Z06 will be my next Corvette.

The C7R is bad ***, too. Wow, 625/635 LT4, sweet deal.

I don't understand trying to compare the C5 to any other generation corvette. The c5 is it's own animal and always will be. The c7 is the evolution and the future. I get people don't always accept change, but the C7 is a beast...like it, hate it, it's here to stay and will only get better

This. From my LT1 C4 to now, the advancement and performance increases each generation has been amazing.

Considering the C1 was NOT a performance car, this is quite the statement with a C7Z.

Yes it is. I like the paint scheme they used on it too. The silver stripe by the fender cove really sets off the yellow and adds a nice touch of "nasty" to the car.

I'm very impressed with the car. Will be interesting to see what the MSRP is.

Yesssss. I literally hate my C5Z right now. It could also be because it is done for the winter and I drive a Corolla every day!

Hmm, on power alone yes but on getting it to the ground just as effectively ad handling, downforce, etc. (not to mention the same reliability) it might be tough to do that on 1/4 of the cost.
