I could use your help soon, i'm going to be installing Stainless Steel Brake Lines, Speed Bleeders, Baer Eradispeed Rotors, and fresh Motul Brake Fluid. Of course i'd, compensate you with lunch afterwards.
I have all the tools to do it. Let me know, don't mind helping
I take my 2000 to the dealer for the fluid service. Why? They have a Tech II, which will activate the ABS pump and circulate old fluid out of the pump as well. The condensation in the fluid will get into the pump and corrode which leads to failure. And since there are no replacement pumps available for the 97-00 cars, the best thing I can do is maintain the current one as best as I can. Clearing the old fluid out of the pump is imperitive. I also will "activate" the active handling and abs whenever I get out in the rain just to excercise the pump and circulate fluid. 130K and still going.
Just bled mine for the 4th time on my 2001 a few days ago. I have a couple Vacuum Bleeders, but with the Speed Bleeders installed I no longer need those. Took longer to remove and remount the wheels than to do the bleed job with Speed Bleeders!
