i live in East TN where the roads are no better, and dont regret taking the front bolts out of mine and shaving them down on the rear, but then again I am used to driving cars with low suspension.

I didn't like the prices either, love the C6 shifter in mine....Been very happy with it since installing it about 2yrs and 20K ago...

I've got the MGW package in mine, and yeah the price is a bit steep, but you get what you pay for. The shifts are short and crisp... Perfect

I did the billet box as well, so I don't know if that made it even better or what... All I know is even my wife loves it!

Got a short shifter coming.

Went to get the ride tagged the other day and there is a piece of paper or something blocking the vin in the windshield...and I can't for the life of me get it out..with a air compressor or a vac. So I've got to either get the damn thing out, or get the windshield pulled & that thing pulled.

Wonder if they will take the vin tag on the door?

On another note..anyone know how to fix the fallen HUD issue without pulling the entire dash?

Going to get some new front tires ordered...275/40r17 seem to fit the bill well..these fit from all the research I've done.

Also got new shift **** in today. Ready to install short shifter!

Well, ebay auction didn't hit my expectations so holding onto her for a bit longer.

New tires ordered, Sumitomo HTR Z III 275/40ZR17. Can't beat the price & reviews look good.

TireRack actually called & said that was a 'unrecommended' height for the tire..which I thought was pretty cool.

Installing short shifter this weekend.

Holy smokes..I got a b&m short shifter(not sure which model as I bought it used off of a user here)...thing shifts HARD but very CONFIDENT. Definitely feels more like what I am used to driving.

Went to our local Test & Tune last night..wasn't too terribly happy with my times. Definitely much different than launching my wrx. Only got 2 runs in due to a track accident. Will improve upon this next time.

Going to hit up a scca autocross next weekend, and a track day at Heartland Park Speedway 's road course sometime this summer. Trying to decide which would be more fun..the wrx or the vette.
