This is my car. The front wheels are 10"x18" and the rears are 11"x18". The tires are 265/35 in front and 295/35 Vredesteins in the rear. My car is lowered on stock bolts and front bushings cut. The sidewalls of the tires are slightly past the edge of the fenders but the rims are right at edge. They fit perfectly with no rubbing. The fronts are a little on the flat side with only a slight dish to them, but I like them just the way they are. Classics cannot be made to fit big brake kits on C5's, according to John at CCW. I bought my wheels based on his recommendations for max sizes with no issues. He was right.
If you went 275x35x18 up front, you would eliminate the flat look with no rubbing.

The "flat" look that the OP is describing refers to the lack of rim lip. It has nothing to do with the tire size.

Seen my car posted a couple times in this thread

I called up CCW and mentioned the yellow vette and he knew what I wanted and took my order 6 weeks later I had my classics in a machined clear face and polished lips and slapped a set of nitto invo's on them. Mounted on the car on lowered on bolts I was happy for a little while but the ride was sub par. Ordered a set of Stance coilovers from Dennis at Double D mods and the car sits lower and rides 10x better and looks pretty awesome too! Heres a pic for everyone to enjoy.

Not to be a hater, but is that car even driveable? Appears as if the rocker panels are sitting on the ground?

Lowered on stock bolts is about the limit of what I consider drive able lol. And some of these cars are absolutely slammed!

18x13" 8.75" backspace rear and 18x10" 7.75" backspace front. When I added the flares, all I did was change the outer barrels from 2" to 3.5".

Neil, you have one of my fav C5's out there!

What front/rear tire sizes are in that pic? And what's the brand on the fenders. Do you recommend that brand?

There's a shadow that makes it look that way lol

From what he just said of course it's drivable.

It's a sports car, not a truck.
I can def bet that there are areas that will have to be avoided indefinitely lol I know I'm at that point now.

Its very drivable, yes I do have to watch where I go but I have rocker rails and those take most of the abuse if I do scrape or drag

Thanks for your comment but I specifically wanted it to look exactly the way it does. I wanted the exact difference in sidewall height that I got and I like the front flatter with the rear having more of a dish to it.

Hey Neil, car looks amazing! Would you happen to have any pics from the rear would like to see how the 3.5 lips fit with the flares. . Im wanting to do the rear flares and trying to figure out how much lip I can run on my ccw's and being so low.

Here are some pics. I checked that the wheels were flush with a plumb bob before mounting the tires. Then, I made sure the tire would tuck under full suspension compression. Rear tires are 345-35-18 Hoosier R6's.
