Anyone used Rock Auto for parts? Price for belts and idlers about half of other auto parts stores.

How is service and return policy?

thanks,

Purchased from them on many occasions and was pleasantly surprised with fast shipment, prices and availability of the vendor for each part purchased. Never had to do a return, but if as good as the rest of the experience that's a plus.

Haven't used them for the Vette since I've only had it 6 months but have bought various stuff for my Lincoln LS over the years.

I will buy from them if I have a couple of days before I need the parts. I had a belt come in on Friday for a Mazda and it had some damage on the smooth side where the tag is. I called them yesterday and they have shipped out a new one. They are generally really good.

Have not used them myself, but I've only heard good things about them. If you can wait a few days to get the parts, they would be a good option to use.

I use them all the time for my Toyota's but I haven't had the Corvette long enough. Their service is excellent and when they have a closeout! WOW!! We did my nephews truck, brakes and rotors for all 4 corners for under $70!

I've used them several times for parts for my coupe. Shipments were always quick and they have good quality parts. I'll be buying a new windshield from them soon; they just started stocking them a few months ago.

Actually just placed an order with them Sunday night for my '03 Envoy (waterpump and fan clutch). Great prices, name brand parts, inventory in stock. Got the email with tracking yesterday and product is landing to me by Wednesday via Fed Ex.

Only thing I was a bit disappointed with was having to pay shipping twice ($17 total) because the parts shipped from different locations. Still wasn't bad and both are delivering same day.

Rock auto is a great outfit. They usually have options on each part (OEM, aftermarket, re-built, etc.) As for returns; great there also. I had to return a couple of fuel gage sender parts, no problem. [That's how I learned that there are about five different sending units for the C5...]

I ordered new tpms on a warehouse closeout yesterday at a 'great' price and got an email today that they have been shipped. First time I've ordered from them but if the tpms are good quality with no problems - I'll definitely be ordering from them again.

I bought rotors and pads from them for most of my cars. A C5 is like $100 for 4 rotors. Super cheap and work just fine.

They also almost always have a 5-10% off coupon code available, just google rockauto coupon code.

I've used them for years for Fiero parts. I once ordered the wrong rear halfshaft because I got confused in selecting the required Pontiac 6000 standard brake right axle that I needed to use with the 4.9 Caddy/4T60E setup(I ordered a left side). Told them straight up what I did, they shipped me the right one, I shipped the wrong one back, no re-stocking. Cost me shipping 3 ways, but it was my bonehead not theirs.

The Fiero forum members would post the monthly discount code, 5% but better than nothing.

Their shipping is a bit pricey. To be honest I use amazon.. The prices are in some cases better and the shipping is cheaper if not free..
