I'm sure a LOT of work was involved, and no disrespect to the dude who built the thing, but WHY?? He put a Corvette body on a 4WD chassis....I think the wheels look like Toyota wheels at that....

The transaxle came out of a Toyota. I don't know why. I guess he just likes building stuff and thought of it as a project that would be fun. HERE is the thread where he talks about it.

I'd rock it. The stupid "Hi Jack" and "4 wheel drive" stickers bother me more than anything else.

I'm saving that picture in case anybody gives me grief about mine.

Cool. Reminds me of the 4x4 mode for the Viper Defender in the old TV show. LOL

If it was mine I would put fender skirts on both the front and rear to fill the gaps. Couldn't hurt.

All kidding aside , after reading that he didn't ruin a perfectly good corvette it don't sound like a bad idea since the car was a flood vehicle and all that was used was the body. Since everything else was ruined from the flood waters at least he salvaged the rest and made something unique that he can have fun with in the winter. It is a shame though that that beautiful car was lost to a flood.

I'll give him credit for doing something different, but really not something I would do.

I was excited when I read the title. I was hoping it was a legit AWD corvette.

Needs to be lowered on stock bolts. I'm betting it doesn't bottom out on speed bumps like some C5's
