Decided it was time to start learning to log and tune, so....
This came today. AEM Wideband with failsafe. Decided to go for it when one of the local guys put a graph up showing the datalog from the gauge. Thought that was pretty cool.
Cam install set for 8/11. I decided to go ahead with meth after all. So Alkycontrol kit, A&A MAF delete, standalone IAT go in with cam, springs, pushrods, timing chain, and wideband.
This went from the point where I was liking it to the point where I am now extremely envious!!! This is clearly going to be a head of the class C5. Now I like my car and I like my chances against many other C5's in a show but I don't want to compete with this rig!
Very nice congrats and I hope to take a drive with you one of these days!

I wondered where you went. Did you get your cam upgrade done?

I hope so. Look for a dyno slip sometime Tuesday night.

Sorry, just been busy lately and not around as much. I did get the cam swap done. Much better low end manners and the mid range power beats the old cam even though the old cam might pull a little longer up top. Who cares about that though as I would be lucky if I once ever drive up in that range and live to tell about it. Anyway, the new cam is much faster from around 55 or 60mph to the end of 4th gear with the 3.42's (which is up there pretty good).

Sounds like you're making more usable power now then. That's always good. Did you happen to put it on a dyno?

Yes, peak on the three pulls was 453, 454, 455, which is in the same range as I was before but the mid range curve is better now than the old cam. She isn't a 750hp brute but then again she is more sportscar than muscle car.

That's stout for h/c/i. I'm only making 460 with the blower!
Exciting day today. I stopped by the shop on my way home from work to check out Joe's progress. The mechanical bits are just about wrapped up. They're making a few little tweaks and need to make a few tune modifications (MAF delete) to get it ready for the dyno/tune session on Tuesday.
AEM Failsafe and Fuel Pressure gauges. They're both connected and working great. Joe left the WB wires (USB and data logging) in a convenient place for me to route them after I get the car home. Check out the Meth LED at 10 o'clock off the AFR gauge
Alkycontrol module where the ash tray used to be. I wanted access to the test button, but still hidden away. This works perfectly because the lid still closes. Perfect!
MAF delete pipe from A&A. I asked Joe to go ahead and remove the surplus MAF wiring from the harness to clean it up. That's one of the last minute tweaks. He also had to extend the pipe 1". I already spoke with A&A and we're going to find longer reducer from the TB to charge pipe to cover the weld bead. It'll be fine.
View from the other side. The MAF delete sure cleans up the area in front of the TB. I'm glad I went that route.
Thanks. Had a lot of help from Joe, Nic, some of our local fast guys, and of course the CF forum. So glad to have access to so many people willing to share their experiences. Also had some help from the weather yesterday. It was only about 95* outside but high humidity. I'll probably go back in October/November just to see what cold dry air does. Might be another 6hp in there. I also need to measure boost again. We stuck with the 3.48" pulley.
