Why did you get 305s if you're going to do flared quarters?

Good question... I bought the ccw wheels gently used from another forum member and they are 20x11 rears and a C6 offset so not ideal for flared fenders. The flared fenders are a future mod that I bought in a mod buying bindge when ordering my rear wing and side skirts.

In order to get the flared fenders to look correct with the wheels I will need to order new rear ccw's in 20x12 in a much different offset when I plan to use the fenders. Unless of course I go with a crazy wide adapter. The fenders basically are the beginning of a future mod. I plan on running my stock fenders for a while first. Sometimes when I have some extra money saved up I go ahead a purchase parts of future mods. Gives me a goal sorta kinda like a down payment on that future mod

Got some work done last night and finished up front end mods. I upgraded to C6 Z51 front sway bar and whoa what a huge difference in size. Also got rid of those crappy plastic and totally worn out end links and and went with new metal ones.

Stock (on top) vs. C6 Z51

yep…. size matters

I'd say after 16 years these have reached the end of their life cycle

much better, can't wait to see the handling difference.

Got my seats back from my upholstery guy. Ready to go back on after I shampoo the carpet.

Looks good! I like the Jake skull on the headrest..

Out of curiosity, what did they charge you for the two seats?

Thanks man, wasn't too bad and well worth it to me. They were all gray and drivers seat was showing some wear. So I got new seats and best of all got them they way I wanted I also had him get me an extra yard of each color for future project ideas.

Thank you, have lots more to get to.

I think they were the base c5 bars. Not really sure. my car has the F45 suspension if that makes any difference. Well for right now it does anyway trying to decide if i want to go c6 z06 shocks or just step up to a set of stance coilovers.

I can tell you that the difference between the C6 z51 bars and the stock c5 bars I took off is dramatic. On a side note I was pleasantly surprised that the C6 z51 bars are not all too expensive from GM and are very available.

Well, got new rear C6 Z51 rear sway bar and metal end links installed tonight. Planned on doing that and rear brakes too but it took a little longer than I originally thought. I'm tired and done for the night. Guess getting something done is still progress. Looks like rear brakes will have to wait until Saturday.

Rear brakes about done! Those rear caliper bracket bolts are quite the biotch to brake loose and wow those rotors sure don't like the idea of being replaced but nothing that a little heat and a weighted hammer couldn't take care of

Yesterday was pretty productive finished rear brakes, got seats bolted in, lowered rear end all the way on stock bolts, got rear spacers mounted and rear wheels and Chadwicked my dusty finger printed baby. Took her out for a spin for the first time in over a month to bed the new brakes. She ran beautiful! Was like a new car with new seats, wheels/tires, brakes, sway bars, and adjusted lowering bolts since the last time I drove her. Can't wait to hit the wings & cars show today

Here she is with her pretty new shoes i was lucky to buy from Mr Black02 the are 19x10 and 20x11 CCW sp16a wheels wrapped in 275/30/19 & 305x25x20 Hankook V12 rubber. Let me say this Mr mmr23 did one hell of a job getting those tires mounted and balanced for me they ride smooth as butter not one vibration! if any of y'all in Orlando need anything tire or alignment related done you need to look him up and run by his shop.
