It's me Pirates Mod thread
Open the box and this is what you see.

They include bunches of different mounts, double sided tape, and zip ties that I didn't use. But was impressed they included just about anything you could possibly need for any installation.

These are the inside components. The brains of the system and the oval alert speaker. They come with some super strong double sided tape attached but also have holes for mounting screws if you wanted to use them. The double sided tape was plenty strong enough for me though.

Mounted the sensor as shown in their video. Just clean the area and stick it on. The adhesive is strong I don't see it going anywhere.

They have gone ahead and put a fuse box adapter with fuse onto the power line and spade fitting onto the ground wire. All you do is plug it into the fuse box (fuse #22) attach the ground to the hole in the mounting tab of the BCM. Tie up the excess wire and tuck it away. Stick the alert speaker to the underside of the dash and your pretty much done.

I didn't need to do any other adjustments. I tested with the packing box as they suggested and it's perfect just the way it is. High Five southern car parts! I'm always very careful but every now and then a parking curb sneaks up on me but no fear now!

My thought on the placement of your sensor. I think you are
expecting your sensor never to lie to you concerning object's
dead ahead. I placed mine higher so if the sensor is confused
what's ahead it won't get knocked off. Your call. I gave mine
plenty of room --18 inch's to tell me of a problem. I know this
curb alert is suppose to be fail proof. But I am not so trusting.
Your vettes coming along nicely, it looks great.

I have had mine on for 6 months and it is still working --just fine.

I got some other carbon fiber parts that just came I would like to get your opinion on. But I'll have to show them to ya to see what ya think. I'll give you a shout and see if your available this week.

I did have it go off a couple times going into a dip or two and at a speed bump but nothing major and I kinda like the fact that it picks up anything that it might perceive as a curb. Could probably adjust that out a bit but I'm fine with it the way it is I'd much rather be safe than sorry.
Worked for parking in the garage too. I generally back in. This time I backed in a little further than usual the shut the door then pulled forward towards the closed door until it beeped at me and perfect parking distance.

you love Florida in the summer. At least NO fires.

Close up of wing.
Good excuse to pick up a couple new tools
right angle cordless drill and this really cool swivel head rivet gun
Laid the skirt out for test fit

Used whatever I could find to shim the front and rear and hold the skirt temporarily in place. Fit the front first then rest just falls into place.

No worries about puck mount access. The skirts fit right around anything important. No modification necessary.

First of about 10 rivets I put in this side. Just drilled 3/16" hole and put in 5 mm rivets. Down the panel a couple extra on each end and a couple on inside side.
