It's me Pirates Mod thread
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

I didn't see your post until last night. It was car and bike show at Palm Bay Harley Davidson. We met my buddy Roadpilot at 7am and headed over. Was a small but good show but hot hot hot!!!! I'll let ya know in advance the next one that we go to.
Instructions said to remove the bumper cover but that is definitely not necessary.
Laid it out to get an idea of what needed to be removed or unbolted. Both sides of the front air dam needed to be removed along with the 5 screws holding on the bottom center of the bumper cover.

Propped up the splitter on jack stands and a box to make sure placement is where I wanted it.

I made cut a template out of cardboard to make sure all of the included stainless steel bolts were evenly spaced across the splitter.

On the advice of my buddy Road Pilot I made some spacers auto of aluminum flat stock to reinforce where the stainless turnbuckle front supports mount to the bumper cover. First drilled two holes

Then cut them to size and rounded and smoothed the edges.

Time to mount the included stainless turnbuckle front supports.

Got distracted looking up at the car and how cool it looks from this angle. ... Damn Adult A.D.D :-)

All done and ready to rock!

even alittle clear tape and wrap it around the brace where it contacts
the bumper. You don't want to rub the paint off.
You probably already took care of that. You have thought of
everything else and it shows --in your outstanding ride.
