I think so too, however, I think I would want mine painted black, since the hood scoop is black too.

I've been real busy with work lately so I've not checked out your thread in a while, I got to say the car is coming along really nice, I love the way you had the rear spoiler painted and can't wait to see the front one mounted, the car looks awesome

I hear ya bud! I was unable to do anything for like a month or more yet had all this stuff that I planned and ordered either waiting on me or on the way in. So I'm ring to get caught up and get the stuff done. Still wanna order my momo but the Bad thing is I'm running out of "somewhat" affordable projects so I'm gonna need to start saving up to join y'all Supercharged club

Last week I joined Florida Corvette Club INC. My buddy Joe introduced to me the idea. So I went to a meeting last week and I met some really cool and very open and welcoming people. The all made me and my girlfriend feel like they had known us for years even though we just met. Got a bunch swag like club shirts, decals, car flags and stuff. They invited us to a club picnic and a members house over the weekend and we went and had a great time. They are a crazy (in a good way) bunch of people who are very active in group social events revolving around the cars we love. Lots, of social nights caravans and they are very involved in autocross events. Looking forward to doing more with them and getting to know them better. If anybody in the central FL area has been thinking of joining in on the fun of being part of a social corvette club I recommend you check them out www.floridacorvetteclub.com

Got my A.P.R. carbon fiber front splitter on today. First off let me say the quality of the part is amazing. These are all made to order and I had it at my door step within 2 weeks of ordering so pretty impressed with that as well.

Instructions said to remove the bumper cover but that is definitely not necessary.

Laid it out to get an idea of what needed to be removed or unbolted. Both sides of the front air dam needed to be removed along with the 5 screws holding on the bottom center of the bumper cover.

Propped up the splitter on jack stands and a box to make sure placement is where I wanted it.

I made cut a template out of cardboard to make sure all of the included stainless steel bolts were evenly spaced across the splitter.

On the advice of my buddy Road Pilot I made some spacers auto of aluminum flat stock to reinforce where the stainless turnbuckle front supports mount to the bumper cover. First drilled two holes

Then cut them to size and rounded and smoothed the edges.

Time to mount the included stainless turnbuckle front supports.

Got distracted looking up at the car and how cool it looks from this angle. ... Damn Adult A.D.D :-)

Thanks man, actually most people I've seen have the supports mounted right to front face of the bumper cover on either side of the license plate area. My buddy has his mounted inside the openings and that's who gave me the idea. It was a little extra work to mount inside the opening but I just didn't want to drill a hole in the front of the cover. But that is exactly what most I've seen have done.

Keep at it. I found me some c6 z06 wheels and put them in yesterday. 19x12 on the back no spacers.made thread about it. I'm going to have to stop by your car lot and catch up one of these days. Only about 3 miles from it. I see it every time I go to Home depot.

High five man! I bet those look sweet! Do the 12's tuck inside the quarter all the way? I'm in and out of the lot all the time. Yep right next to the depot. Give me a shout if you in the area. I still need to get back down to you for that alignment when I get a kid free weekend.

Mr Pirateslife4me---Your ride looks sweet!! You know those braces are leaning against the bumper???? I would take a small piece of film
even alittle clear tape and wrap it around the brace where it contacts
the bumper. You don't want to rub the paint off.
You probably already took care of that. You have thought of
everything else and it shows --in your outstanding ride.
