New Brakemotive front rotors and pads installed and lowered the front all the way while I had the wheels off.

Hey Y'all, Been a while sine I have been on here. I was in the Hosptial for 8 days and been recovering for the last week or so very very slowly. Got really sick and they never did really find what was wrong with me so I still have more tests to go and keeping my fingers crossed. Been really weak and just walking to the bathroom has bee quite a chore but I am getting better every day and can't wait to get back to work on my Pirate Vette.

As it stands its still on jack stands waiting for new ccw wheels to go on. I have installed new front brakemotive rotors and pads. My seats are done at the upholstery guys shop and look amazing. I still have to get them picked up and installed. I added more Dynamat Extreme to the entire rear end of the car and need to get carpet back in. Fixed the issue of my crappy sounding horn and replaced the low sounding horn with a new one. I have installed the C6 Z51 front sway bars and new metal end links. Still need to do rear brakes and install new sway bar out back get adapters on and mount my new wheels.
I'm dying to get back to working on putting my car back together and hopefully gaining enough strength to be able to do a little at a time. Anywho…. just checking in and updating y'all on whats been going on. with any luck you'll see some of my recent progress soon and I'll be back out enjoying my car

Wow, hope you get better soon! I was wondering where you've been since the updates stopped. Nothing is more important than your health, concentrate on that first, the car can wait.

Glad you're back! I'm trying to decide which double din system to pick & noticed you chose the Kenwood DNX 890HD setup. I'm leaning towards the DNX 891HD which I believe is essentially the same. How do you like your Kenwood so far? What model backup camera did you choose? Thanks for any suggestions you might.

NO WAY DUDE, you too??? wth is going on in central fl? Glad your feeling better. Can't to see that hood all shining like new, progress was looking great. Need to get my car back together and get in for that alignment with you. Especially since I dropped it on the stock bolts some more.

Thanks man I really like the Kenwood. I like the large clear screen and the fact that everything is touch screen no ***** or anything. The only thing that I would double check is to make sure that all the options as far as connectivity to your cell phone are there. Certain options and are not compatible with certain phones. I have a Samsung Note 2 and blue tooth works great but getting all the other fancy features like pandora, text messages etc I can't seem to get to work right due to compatibility issues. Now there may be firmware upgrades or something i need to do that I have not done but still I'd make sure that your phone is compatible with the Head unit if those things are important to you.

I went with an Audiovox bullet style back up camera. Was really easy to mount and install and can hardly even tell it is there. the optics are great in the day time and pretty good at night time too. I have no complaints about it whatsoever. Good luck with your choices and install
