I have an 02 vert, blackwing cold air intake, Kooks long tube headers, no catalytic converters, and Borla two tube stingers. Most impressive "growl" in my local Vette club. But it will drone below 1700 RPM, so I never drive at that RPM. At highway speeds, with the top down, it is not oppressively loud at all. But when I really get on it, all the neighbors know I'm around!!!! LOL. Go for it!!! And good luck.
