Checked for codes after a few ride sense being out of storage. Found BO361 H left actuator feedback short to ground and BO 516 H speedometer signal circuit malfunction. Any major concerns ? And what do I do to correct ? Thanks for your help in advance.
Ok thanks , I will clear codes tomorrow but for future info the ground code one if it comes back current I should just check ground connections. But what is the speedometer circuit one.
If you just turn the ignition ON and pull codes most are going to show H. One should go for a drive and then BEFORE you turn the ignition OFF you should pull the codes to get an accurate determination of H, C, or H C.
Hopefully your codes were random and require no action to correct.
Thanks dadaroo for your response. I did go for a ride of about 35 minutes when I got home I pulled the codes about 10 minutes after getting home. The BO361 H and BO516 H showed up. I will reset before I go for next ride. And repull codes again. I am wondering what the BO516 speedometer circuit is ?
B0516 is a code for the speed signal between the PCM and the IPC. The PCM sends pulses to the IPC based on MPH. The PCM gets the speed input from the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) at the rear.
Good news for you!!!!!!!!!!
This code is only thrown if the vehicle speed detected is over 200 MPH for 1 second.
Let us know if you have any issues with the speedo. Just try to slow down some.
Reset codes to car out for ride got the BO361 H short to ground code and BO441 H C left actuator . Actuator code that is a box with plastic gears for ac /heat that will need to be replaced correct ? The BO361 I will need to clean ground connection and pins in side connection box correct ? Thanks for the help.

I just 2 weeks ago replaced the AC actuator, That is a job in it's self.
I hope that I will luck out with repair . My extended warranty runs out at the end of next month repair should be covered. I will also have them checkout short to ground code. The BO361 code what ground location is that related too. Thanks
You understand short to ground does not mean a bad ground. With that said the actuator is grounded via slice pack SP215 the HVAC head/control unit which in turn is grounded using G202. So the actuator gets it's ground via the head unit.
The FSM indicates an open circuit could also apparently appear as a short to ground. So look for bad connections too.
I don't have time now to scan the schematics and the diagnostics right now, getting ready to leave for the day. Unless you have really good testing skills they would not help you.
dadaroo, Thanks for taking the time to try to help me out. Doing a search for BO441 & BO361 I found were pulling fuse for hvac for at least 60 seconds is the only way for computer to reset , Sounds simple enough and I will give that a try. Also that turning temp **** either way to fast can cause system to go a little crazy and cause codes or a freeon/vacuum leak might cause code. What are your thoughts ? My car does blow cold air when set to cold warm when set to warm. Just concerned about codes.

If it were me I would disregard the codes so long as I had heat and A/C to the levels I wanted. With that said, I do all my own work.
Since you have an extended warranty you may want to have them fix it if it is covered. Just make sure whoever does the work knows what the hell they are doing and don't cause more problems that show up after your warranty runs out in a month.
