All I'm sayin is...I hope you aren't gonna run some puss *** ride height. Stretching requires stance otherwise it looks ridiculous.
I personally have always leaned to function stance versus hellaflush standard but...that said...I'd rather see some young flavor than this chrome crap with GS stripes on both fenders, the seats, the back quarters, the roof...wherever else. Old guys.....killin me...

It definitely needs some coilovers. I have no bolts up front and longer bolts out back but it would look nicer lower. The 305s didn't really stretch much, if at all, so I think it looks good overall. I was hoping for a little more stretch though
what the crap??...poked out with stupid stretched tires......
It looks awesome man! Keep up the good work and do what YOU want to do with YOU'RE corvette. Just like the saying goes Opinions are like.... well you know how the rest goes.

I think a lot of it has to do with perception of the Corvette as an "elite" automobile. The c5 in it's hay day was not always affordable to the younger generation, and purist would never dare to go outside the box with any trends observed as "young" or "ricer." Obviously things have changed since c5 is readily affordable to a teens in college now a days, and that opens our cars up to new ideas. As for me...if it looks good, and doesn't affect performance adversely I like it! If it's cheap chrome stick on's from pep boys, welllll you can expect internet verbal ridicule lol

I don't think it's the Corvette being "elite" as there are plenty of high end euro cars that have similar treatments from the get go. I guess it's more the mentality of the average Corvette owner. Not that there is anything wrong with it, but most Corvette guys go for the "more is better" approach. More horsepower, widest tire possible, big wheels, etc. etc. I personally like both looks and neither are wrong. I just find it interesting that people attack others so quickly on here for trying something a little different.
By the way, I couldn't lose on this deal as my back up plan was putting wide fenders out back if they didn't work out as they ddi
