Good for you! The guys are being polite as wagons usually get ripped on. We all understand at 19 you're options are probably limited and we're happy to see young blood in our world!!

Fine by me lol. I'm not too picky with wheels as long as they're clean and not butt-ugly.

Congrats on both a beautiful car and the trophy. I got my first Corvette at 19 too, but that was awhile ago (1968).

Do you have a plan, on mods? Where are you going with power, eventually?
Everything you do, in the way of mods, should build one upon the other mod.
If you think you might SuperCharge it someday, then every mod you do now (in regards to powertrain), should build towards that; supporting the SuperCharger. Or whatever your goals may be.

If so, ask MadMatt and some guys very knowledgable, which mods support your eventual goal. Instead of just randomly throwing parts on it, which may not work later.

Of course, you can leave it all stock; and throw on a SC, with a mild tune; and you'll love that too.

lots of options with C5,
have fun,

Don

Right now I want to do bolt ons (intake exhaust tstat etc,) beef up the suspension and a tune. Eventually I'll go with a 408/413, an RPM T56, and a lower gear. With that setup I'd like to be somewhere in the 11s trapping mid 120s. Gonna take a lot of practice/tweaking with the 6 speed but it could be done.
