Personally I've owned (in order):
67 Mustang Coupe (restored from the time i was 14)
96 s10 Blazer 4x4
97 Pontiac Trans Am (still have it 160k strong)
04 Explorer
98 Corvette (purchased last year)
06 Audi A4 (wrecked last year
)01 s10 2x4 2.2l
I can say of all the cars other than my two sports cars (the vette and t/a) the Audi was by far the most enjoyable and comfortable of them all. It kinda opened my eyes a good bit to what else is out there. Still sad it was so short lived but I eventually plan to get another one. As I said my heart will always be with GM but these days theres so many good offerings from so many companys. Ive drove some radical awesome machines from other makes and I'm continued to be impressed every day.
Before purchasing my Vette last year I was torn between buying it or a 11-13 Mustang GT with the 5.0. Ive always had a soft spot for Mustangs and the new GTs are an extreme bang fro the buck. I also looked at a few 03-04 Cobras. In the end the practicality of the Vette won since I was more likely to be happy with it out of the box where as the cobra and the gt would have ended up being modded like crazy and thanks to the Trans Am I already have a racecar... dont need 2.
At the end of the day its all what ya like... and for myself, i just like cars. Plan on adding to that list alot more as the years go on. Next purchase is likely to be another euro awd car... cause snow drifting.
I like the Raptor, but not enough for the price, and the Dodge Ram styling appeals to me, but aren't they made in Mexico now?
