If I were choosing between the two I would go with the dodge too. New camaros aren't about handling, and I think the SRT plays the muscle car card better than the camaro. Seriously though, EVERYONE will want to know if you're trading in your vette. Went to nissan a few weeks ago just to peek at 370's and got the "interested in trading that thing in on a GTR?" Not a chance, especially considering my current income is <10,000 a year!
Dodge made some cool muscle cars back in the 60's. Some of my friends had several of them. I was an Oldsmobile man (Olds Cutlass 442, had 2 of them). Back seats seemed important to me back then...
I know nothing about them, now days; but good luck on your new car.
From: Gurnee IL. so close to Wisc. I can smell it when they cut the cheese
Well don't lose any sleep over your sin I really don't think it warrants the confessional.
I am not a Mopar guy but the Challenger is a really nice car, I know someone with a 2012 and they rave about it all the time.
Good luck and enjoy!
The point of the challenger never really seemed to be speed for me. It's all about being a big heavy in your face muscle car. The Corvette is a pretty sports car, the challenger is a big intimidating beast.
It's like comparing a pistol to a chainsaw–yes the gun will win the fight 99% of the time, but if you see a guy with a bloody chainsaw compared to a guy with a pistol in a holster, which scares you more?
a friend of mine had a 392 Challenger and I liked it a lot, was very comfortable to drive and interior was nice but i love the retro muscle look of them so much a looked at a few before I bought my zo6

never compared it to a corvette. My Corvette will kill it in all ways except a back seat.
You're forgiven. I am a mopar man from the womb, but the Corvette satisfies me on so many levels. Besides, I think that the Vette is a far better sports car than the Viper
Nice Challenger! Best looking "muscle" car out of the 3. With the Mustang a close 2nd. I too am a Mopar guy at heart. Always had Mopar's. Always ran great too. But the c5 vettes are at such a great price point now there is literally nothing that can touch it via performance for around the same price. I would LOVE to have a Viper. But You can't get a clean Viper for around $20k.
I have been looking at the new ones myself, I have to admit since the hellcat came out I started looking, but the Corvette goes no where, Not a chance.
That's a sharp color, great looking ride.
