Yes I did this about 15 years ago with my y2k wheels. I went thru West Coast Corvettes and was very satisfied. I have since bought new wheels, but after 13 years the y2k chrome still looked like new.

I did a chrome wheel exchange when I had my '99 (many years ago) and I went with Ecklers. Price was good, so was service and the wheels were very nice. No problems were encountered. Check with them and perhaps some of the other major vendors (West Coast Corvette, Mid-America) and see if they offer a wheel exchange service.

I did that my first week of ownership back in 2000 with Discount Tire (they no longer offer that from my understanding). I used them every day on my C5 until last April (bought a new set of Chrome Speedline thinspokes in April), but I still have them as a backup set and they look like the day I bought them. Very satisfied.

Thanks all, quality is my #1 concern. Good to hear that you have all had good experiences. Will most likely pull the trigger in a few weeks, car is in storage until March so no great rush.
