My memory isn't what it should be. I even posted on the thread. Thanks for pointing me in that direction. Yes, it looks possible. I'm not sure what the issue is with spacers and I don't know what it mean to "shorten the wheelstuds" or whether that's difficult. Any advice on those topics would be appreciated.

The offsets on the wheels are different, C5 vs C7. If I understand it correctly the C7 wheels sit too far into the wheel wells and "spacers" help move them out to where they look right. There may be a clearance issue without the spacers as well.
