don't have a lot of money so I was going to do my exhaust in stages. is anybody running longtube headers with straight pipes and stock mufflers?
I guarantee you it has been done... may take a while for the first one that's actually done it to post. If not... blaze at trail thru corvette history and go for it!

While not as free flowing as some aftermarket catback systems, the stock system still flows pretty good. I'm sure you would realize some gains by going with the LT headers and the other components you mention. Just hope you don't have any emissions inspections in your state.
I'm running LT Kooks headers ,no cats , X pipe and ZO6 Titanium mufflers. Love the set up !!!
When I bought the car it had all that but Borla quad stingers for mufflers. I was fun for about 2 weeks then the drone got tiresome.
Yes that is what I want to do. the headers and no cats first then save up for my cat back system. No emission test here.
Then go for it... won't hurt a thing. Again, if your stock cat back exhaust isn't loud enough for you, do the bypass mod on it and see if you like it... you can probably get that done for nearly nothing, If you can weld or no someone that can...
Here is how the bypass works...
Here is what it will look like...
