Something else is leaking. Stock mounts don't leak.

Default i was like what?

Leaking motor mounts? I was about to check mine for leaks. Was wondering why my car shook so much. Always thought it was the cam.

OSAR!! They do dry out and crack and become WORTHLESS! Power brake your car and watch the engine rise up. If it does, you have a broken mount!!

The one on the DRIVERS SIDE takes the most abuse and is usually the first one to give up the ghost! Seen it several times!!! If you apply TORQUE to the drive train and that mount is bad, the engine will rise up and separate from the mount stud.

Not too common but yes, they can leak. The OE engine mounts are a "hydraulic" type, commonly found on many vehicles these days to suppress/minimize NVH. They contain a clear fluid that is very similar to silicone, but I don't think it's silicone.
Btw, they CAN be changed with the engine in place by removing the lower engine mounting nuts (not the cradle nuts) and carefully jacking the engine up. If you lower the cradle, you should follow up with a wheel alignment, that's why I say to raise the engine up and no alignment needed, if you leave the cradle alone.

I did it this way too when I installed my Hinson short mounts, that way I didn't have to deal with all the other nonsense involved in dropping the cradle. It was pretty straightforward when following this guide:

Thanks for the reply.I cannot find anything else that could leaking. Had the car up on a lift twice, my son is a service tech , ran the car while up on the lift, cleaned underside both times. No leaks. Drive car home next day small drop of oil on floor and and on cradle by motor mount. We are stumped.
