Default 28TCS Code C1217

Yesterday I had this code come up out of the blue on my 1998 Vette. I haven't had a problem with my TCS system considering the age. Every now and then I would get a no communication notice for it, but few and far between. So after reading the forum and at first fearing the worst as far as ABS goes for this model, I read about first checking your fuses in the fuse box next to the battery. I take a look at fuse 52 which controls the ABS and pull it out and sure enough it's blown. I take another look at fuse diagram and it shows that fuse 52 is supposed to be a 40 Amp fuse. The blown fuse i just pulled out is a 30 Amp fuse. So, I don't know who put that in and why it hasn't blown sooner in the 4 years I have owned this car, but went and bought my 40 Amp maxi fuse, popped it in and away goes the TCS and Service ABS warning. Cleared my DIC and good as new till the next hiccup on this car. Thanks again Corvette forum for the $3.50 ABS/TCS cure.
