Thanks,Matt
Probably already covered somewhere but I didn't see it in this thread...with this conversion will you have any clearance issues with C5 spec wheels? I wonder if my Big Street Classics would clear this upgrade?

The C6 Z51 setup will clear with no problems. I installed a set on my friends 02 convertible. Everything bolts up with no clearance issues. He was running 18's front and back. Sadley he totalled the car a month afterwards. We pulled the whole setup and are putting them up for sale. Rotors, calipers and.brackets.

Hey Gene, hope that things are going well up there in PA. Miss stopping in and chatting with you and Patrick to get parts at the old location. Just wondering, will the C5Z wheels (17" F, 18" R) clear/fit on the C6 Z51 rotors or will the OEM C5Z wheels be too small to clear? Ideally I could run the C5Z wheels as my "winter wheels" and my CCW Classics as the spring, summer, fall wheels.

You're more than welcome to chat with us at our new location

I don't follow which wheels work with the C6 Z51 brakes on the C5 so I wouldn't want to give you any false information. I'm sure someone here will chime in and get you on the right track.

C6z brakes here and I love them. I road race and hit the canyons often. Pads aren't cheap but rotors are. IMO the best bang for your buck. These brakes with dtc70 pads will put your head in the windshield. I do run too r888/tires tho

Thanks! I'll have to agree...not so much as being the retailer but also knowing a good value when I see one.

The Aer06 kits fit to either the 13.4 or 14" front rotors are a great package for about anyone's use. They are easy to install, fairly easy to service (no longer top loading pads...) and function as well as they look.

The real value however...is combining this front kit with out FNSL4 rear kit- also fit to stock rotors. You end up with 14/13.4" rotors 6/4 pot calipers pads, ss flex hoses and all the necessary hardware for what you drop on a single axle front kit from other manufactures. Sure..you end up with one piece rotors but many prefer them for their cost effective replacement.

Just a thought.
