Had to get rid of the 2004 Z. Sad day but it was a necessary move with the birth of our 3rd kid. Ended up trading her in on a 2015 Silverado which is quite amazing and I'm extremely happy. Plus, the wife is happy that I no longer wake the kids up and I'm sure the neighbors appreciate it as well.

Never got to get her dyno tuned with all the new goodies installed either.

Sometimes a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do. Good for you. Life is all about priorities. Good luck to you and your newly expanded family.

Congrats on your new child and sorry to hear about you having to sell your C5. Family comes first though.

I've had Corvettes off and on for 40 years, on 7th one now, different priorities come and go, kids, jobs, ect - life always changing. Ten years from now you will be ready for another and can pick up an old C7 for $12k

Congrats on both new arrivals! Right decision. There'll be time in the future for another Vette.

Happy compromise? Cadillac CTS-V or ATS-V. Another option is the Dodge Challenger SRT8 or Chevy SS.

There will definitely be another vette in the future. Probably 18 years from now.

Those SS are pretty awesome. I ended up with a new Silverado so I'm happy now.
