Default wheel hop
Had work done on the C5 got up to 550 HP to the rear wheel ., Getting wheel hop in 1st 2nd and 3rd. Have to get out of it to stop WH . Kind of getting upset ,can't get on it . Any suggestions ? thanks Joe

what kind of tires do you have?... with that much power you really should be using a good drag radial and that would probably eliminate most if not all of the hop... aside from tires, stiffer motor and diff mounts will help with drivetrain shake

yeah if those are just the basic 555 street tires you are going to have to ditch them if you want to have any fun at all with the power you have

If your 550 RWHP... your going to have more problems than just wheel hop... clutch, torque tube couplings, tranny, unless you already addressed those...

if his suspension is shot and/or stock stuff that could be a contributor as well couldn't it?

Yes it could. Also a Diff Mount and Tranny Brace setup will help.

You need one of these - and hardened output shafts
