I think this is also a generation difference. For me, I have no issue with email only. I would only use the phone number in a last chance situation. And if it went that far, I'd probably contact my credit card company before I tried a phone number. Besides, it's just as easy to ignore a phone call and/or voicemail as it is to ignore an email.

Well that's interesting and unexpected. Maybe he's making a comeback. Hopefully whatever happened in his life has been resolved and he's back in business.
