My new-to-me 03 Coupe appears to be the victim of an aggressive buffer on the rear badge. There are some places where the paint has been rubbed away. Is there a touch-up paint that can fix that?
I agree with the above recommendation. My experience has been that this is not a one time fix. My Vette probably gets washed 3 times a week on average and the combination of both the washing mitt and drying with a synthetic chamois wears the paint off the edges over time. I probably touch them up about 3 or 4 times a year.
Whenever I do this I mask the surrounding area with 3M blue painter's tape just to avoid any possible mistakes. It prevents a small job from becoming a big headache.
