The mental part of me dropped out for a moment there. I definitely meant to type in roll bar, not roll cage. Still, just more stuff for me to do just to take it to the drag strip. It's a sickness I tell ya...

I'd love to do an all motor 10s build.

1.3x 60' though...damn. What's it take to get the driveline to live happily there?

I'm trying to go 11s without touching the long block. Need real tires. Still stock appearing on pilot sports.

On a 1.98 60' it's been 12.2 @ 118.6

(I can post the slip if needed, don't want to derail this heh)

I ran a best of 10.8 @ 134mph on Nitto RII DOT road race tires in my car. That pass was with a 1.7 60ft time, full weight (3180lbs), subwoofer and all carpet, passenger seat, etc in the car. Even left the coilovers stiff like I drive the car on the street. My goal was just to see what I could get out of the car as I drive it to work.

Mods in sig, basically an NA dry sump LS7 with heads/cam making 560rwhp. It had 3.90 gears at the time, now has 3.73s.

I know it's only 11.44 @126, N/A motor, but I've got a Class Eliminator trophy at Englishtown in NJ. Not supposed to come back without a roll bar and a new helmet.

Best I've managed with my Z was an 11.6 at 120 a few years back. Would be interested to see what my car could do with a good driver and good DA with the power available.

Hers is a 10.28 - btw, you only need a 5 point to pass tech to run a 10.00 or slower.

Thanks for the offer but I won't be doing a roll bar. I use my car for work and traveling, so I won't be doing anything that limits the use of my trunk space. I'll have to just sneak back in or paint my car. Unless the rear diagonal bars are removable and just the main hoop stays in.

As someone who's had an RSD 6pt in my C6 I can tell you first hand the down bars don't get in the way. Whatever you're going to put in that EXACT location can be either put farther back, or turned 90 degrees to fit between them. There's still plenty of room in there.

What size tires/wheels on the CCW drag pack? Your car looks identical to mine. Dark roof, BSMs, etc. I'm really trying to figure out what I want to run on the street and on the track. The new 418 LS3 will be putting out 750rwhp with an A4. With the right tires, I'm hoping I might even get into the 9s. Need some advice from your experience. Been a long time since I went to the drag strip.
