What do I have - one about 3 seconds slower.

Looking forward to seeing what others who may have a 10 second car post up.

Not looking for road racing but 1/4 mile times - thanks

Your TQ is really high for a centri compared to HP, are you using a restricter plate or other mods to boost TQ?

I'm not on the quick list linked above but it's DEFINITELY a 10 second car if not less. Just your average built twin turbo C5.

Definitely, but you have no proof?
I've seen a lot of cars with power adder that you would expect to run tens but didn't.
Feel like breaking down your invisible time slip? Please no bench racing. I should definitely go 9's but have no proof.
You didn't get my attention …

If I let out completely just past the 1/8 mine will go 10s....

Basics are in my sig, as is a link to my youtube channel. All runs are made on pump gas with a 3740lb race weight. Car retains full accessories and drivability, hell...its got a stock ZR1 cam. Ton's more cool stuff about the car, but you get the gist. Its the car that was all over High Tech Corvette's Face Book page last week (pix and vid).

Thanks for the replies

I thought I'd get better , more realistic replies with looking for 10 second cars in here after all it's not that difficult to do. Just thought more people have actually done it.
So I'm going to stop and give EVERYONE the benefit of the doubt and just agree that if you have a power adder that you are a 10 sec car.
Just for the record, my car has gone 9.5X on a 100 shot but I thought asking for 9 second cars I was not going to get a very good response.
Thanks for the interest but I think I'll give up now while I'm ahead and not look like I'm trying to seem like I think I have the fastest car in here or something... It just didn't seem to go as I had expected. Forgive me if I put anyone on the spot.

Rob

I'll get in that 10 club after the new motor goes in... I'll post in the Performance section. But dang, I'm gonna have to get a roll cage... sigh.

Just an FYI, you'll be fine down to 10.00 with a 6pt roll BAR, not a cage. The difference between the two is massive as far as cost and complexity goes. If you are in the market for a 6pt bar may I suggest the RSD (site sponsor) 6pt. I used one in my C6 and it was fantastic.

The fit for a generic bolt in bar was very good and the install really wasn't bad either. The drilling of the wholes in the back wall was a slight pain but nothing that should keep you from doing it. I know it seems daunting to someone who hasn't done stuff like it but its a great learning process.

Its great to learn how these cars go together and come apart and after all they are a dime a dozen these days so if you break something replacement parts are everywhere.

The RSD is on the higher end of the price list but you really do get what you pay for. The quality is top notch, at least it was with mine. We all know that a 6pt really doesn't add anything structural to these cars or improve the roll over safety because the halo is already very very strong but you still should never skimp on safety items. Its always funny to me to hear people drop $10K on a blower/cam install but complain about something that could save their life when it all goes wrong.

Sorry to the OP if my comment sounded elitist or something, I was just trying to be funny. I've built a few cars in my life from the ground up before my vette's and have done a fair amount of racing so if I can be of assistance just ask.
