I am coming up on the first oil change since I bought my '02 C5Z. I checked with the place I bought it from and they do not know when the other fluids were changed last. I will have them all done with the oil. I am looking for recommendations on what types to use including oil.
Myself and most use Mobile-1... I use the high mileage has more Zink in it read that in Vette Mag... Brake fluid if just a street right just a good quality one will work if want the real good stuff Castrol React racing Brake fluid works ,I the trans and the diff. I use Royal Purple I have been using it for years and I love the stuff but any good quality will work .. and the same for the rest a good quality fluid works fine ..

I use Amsoil for most everything in all my cars and motorcycles. Mobile 1 is good as well. Amsoil just a step above quality wise. Of course that was before Mobile 1 came out with their High Mileage blend, have not seen the comparisons between those two.
Either one would serve your engine well. You can add Royal Purple to that list as well.
mobil one for the engine
dex cool for the cooling system
amsoil for the trans and diff
and OEM ac delco power steering fluid for the power steering ( had to drain mine to install my supercharger)
and just dot 4 brake fluid for the brake system as i don't do autocross or drag race mine

just depends on how you drive the car and how much money you want to spend... if you baby the car all the time then you could honestly probably get by with the cheapest stuff you could find but if you drive it hard and want the best possible chance of it lasting I would get the best you can afford... personally this is what I use, I also change everything religiously:
-Redline 5/30 motor oil
-Amsoil torque-drive in the trans and severe gear 75/90 in the diff
-Castrol srf or motul rbf600 in the brakes/clutch
-50/50 mix of dex and distilled water in the cooling system
-Power steering I'm not as concerned with so any gm certified fluid is fine for me
