HID Headlight Install Question
I assume this has been covered a million times already but i tried Google and using the forum search and couldn't find the answer.
Here is where I am thus far,
I had previously installed a set of 35W HID bulbs in the stock project. In an effort to be DOT legal and eliminate the horrible glare I had purchased a set of ACA reproduction projectors from Ebay. My headlight gears went as well so i took the whole assembly out and swapped to the brass gears as well.
I probably should have done more research because upon receiving them I realized that they come with H11 55W halogen bulbs.
These bulbs done seem to work with existing HID kit which is fine. I figured I would have to buy a set of 35W HID bulbs to work with my existing ballasts and I would be good to go.
In the meantime I was going to reinstall the lights and use the halogen bulbs.
The Sylvania H11 bulb doesnt seem to fit into the stock connector so i can't get it to work. Is this typically the case or am i missing something?
Car is a 97 if that makes any difference.
Also, with the ACA reproduction kits, can anyone point me in the direction of a good set of HJD bulbs from a forum sponsor? I was intending to buy some from ebay but there are tons of them on ebay and i would rather buy from a forum sponsor to get a product that i know is tried and true.
Any help would be appreciated and sorry if this has been covered before.
Rob
