Nice looking car, great color and IMO you got a decent deal for the low mileage car. Some here believe the C5s should be dirt cheap, but it's not what I have found from prices around here, especially ones in very good condition with the low miles. As long as you are happy with the car and the price you paid, that's all that matters.
As far as any future mods go - do whatever makes you happy. After all, having a car set up just like you want is an important part of car ownership.
Perfect
That's a great car and imo a good price for the condition and miles, same as the loaded '99 with 10K miles for $19K. Nice low mile unmolested C5's are getting harder to find.
IMO you did GREAT! That is the exact car I was looking for 3 years ago when we stumbled on the Nassau Blue car we have now. What color interior? Camel or Black?
Congrats!

You can find out on here how to check the age. I wouldn't drive spirited on on 15 year old tires! Safety First.
Will do, looking at tires now. Just trying to make the choice between RF or non. Def pros and cons, rides really rough currently with goodyear emt (5yrs old, I found out)
Well I purchased my 2001 new over 15 years ago and it has over 65,000 miles and I would not consider selling it for that. If it is what you want, then I would say it is well worth it. If you are buying to sell it in a few months maybe not.
I bet that looks great, I wished mine had black as well at 1st but after living with it a few years prefer the gray (over black) as I would tan in your case over the black, especially with the green.
Thanks, hopefully no problems for awhile. Mechanic inspection before purchased showed no issues. Didn't realize until after purchase reading all of the issues people have on the forum.
Sooner or later they all have problems .......After I got my 99 Convertible 2 weeks ago and started reading the problems these cars have...90% are all the same ones!.....and parts for these problems are cheap...I got my 99 completely fixed for around $300....mine had the usual...No display on my dual zone hvac, DIC was inop....turned out to be the PC board in the cluster, my 99 didn't come with HUD....so I retro fitted it.....total cost was $300, if you can do the labor your self....then these cars wont break the bank

There are also many threads on here about RF. I replaced this year on my 97, the original OEM equipment with Michelin Pilot Sport AS ZP. Previous two owners just kept putting on OEM. The rear tires were five years old and the front were 11 yrs old.
The ride quality was unbelievably better. My wife in the passenger seat could feel the difference! Will never go back.
Also had my DD towed a month before I had to decide on tires and they scrapped the bottom putting it on a flat bed tow truck. Enough said, I'll always have run flats. Good luck.
You found a nice car, you liked it and bought it. Don't look back. Get in and drive it, polish it, admire it. When or if something happens then take care of it. Until then, enjoy. Good luck with the Vette. They are great cars.
A month from now you wont remember what you paid.
You will more than get your money's worth with a great car.
